What is the difference between Botox® and Dermal Fillers (Restylane®, Juvederm TM)?

What is the difference between Botox® and Dermal Fillers (Restylane®, Juvederm TM)?

Botox® is a simple nonsurgicalprocedure that helps soften dynamic lines, which lines are created by expressions such as frowning. Botox® also helps to prevent the formation of permanent lines. Common areas for Botox® are the frown lines between the eyes, horizontal forehead lines and crow’s feet. The effects are noticeable within 2 weeks. The benefits of Botox® last an average of 3 months. Treatments every 3-4 months are recommended to maintain results.

Dermal fillers restore volume loss and fill in many lines that cannot be treated with Botox®. Examples of areas that can be treated with dermal fillers include the lines from the corners of the nose to mouth and around the lips, lips, jowls, and cheeks.
