Dr. Kimberly Stone addresses these concerns and many others in her “unique boutique” type practice. Steering away from the larger depersonalized medical practices, Dr. Stone makes it her goal to provide individualized care to each of her patients. Dr. Stone specializes in cosmetic dermatology. With over 13 years experience, she performs a variety of cosmetic procedures including botox, filler agents, laser procedures, and sclerotherapy.   With a state of the art photography system, she is able to photograph patients and quantify areas of increased pigmentation, telangectasias, pore size, wrinkles, etc. This helps to better select a method of treatment. These days most patients want a natural and more youthful appearance with minimal inconvenience. Dr. Stone spends time with each patient to determine to best achieve that. Patients with minimal to moderate sun damage respond well to a series of microdermabrasions and peels (done consecutively for optimal results). Impressive results are seen with the Pearl Laser. This laser treats fine lines on the face and neck, uneven skin texture and light and dark spots caused by sun damage. The Pearl laser replaces the entire top layer of sun-damaged skin with new healthy skin. It also stimulates new collagen growth, filling out and decreasing fine lines and wrinkles. The combination of new skin and fewer wrinkles results in a healthier, more youthful appearance. Unlike the prolonged “down-time” with traditional CO2 or erbium lasers or the need for 4-6 treatments with fractionated technology, with the Pearl the skin is red for 3-4 days and results are seen after only one treatment, although most people desire a second treatment.
